Wanting your significant other to have you as their "number 1 priority" sounds romantic on the surface, but when it means categorizing their external support systems (friends) and personal me-time, it becomes a form of control. It says more about your own insecurities than your partner's. There is a big difference between a partner wanting to spend their free time with you organically and you imposing a rule that they must seek you out first. When connection becomes a rigid obligation, it often drains the fun and spontaneity out of dating. Early to mid-stage dating is usually about discovering compatibility, not locking down total priority over a partner's life. Even in long-term relationships, forcing a hierarchy can breed resentment over time. But thats my own view on relationships. I think the best option is to gently support each other in developing hobbies, friendships, and goals so you don't have to rely on them as your sole source of fulfillment or emotional support (as you mentioned, you rely on them too much and want them to do things for you most of the time, expecting them to always come find you). Feeling anxious when your partner is away does not mean they are doing something wrong to you or being insincere and not loving you enough. Give them space, let them enjoy their freedom, and nurture your own life too. High-maintenance jealousy does the exact opposite. It shrinks your partner's world to make you feel secure.
뭐냐 얜?;;;
