Buy the Xiaomi for its longer battery life, back screen allowing for super high-quality selfies, Android freedom (e.g., did you know you can play many PC games on an Android phone if you have a good enough chip? This Xiaomi will e a great candidate after a few months or longer, when software matures for it!), greater number of apps available, better zoom camera and theoretical custom ROM support. Buy the iPhone if many of these boxes are checked: - You use a Mac and/or other Apple products (no hate to Macs by the way, they're great even without an iPhone!) - Xiaomi can still be used easily and alternatives to Airdrop exist - Your last phone was an iPhone and you liked the software, didn't have many issues with it - You don't care about not having to charge your phone every night (iPhone you should still charge nightly and use the second day of battery life as an emergency in case you forget imo) - You want a phone NOW without waiting for the international release (although I may be able to recommend some other Android phones depending on your priorities that are already released) - Your NEED a specific iOS-only app (unlikely for most people, almost any app has an Android alternative and most important iOS exclusives are primarily for tablet-style, but for a minority this is still possible) - You like John Apple
